Welcome at the site of De Eekhof Appartementen Verhuur.

  You can find De Eekhof Verhuurbedrijf on the edge of the old port Hindeloopen, known for its own characteristic costume, language and painting, which can be called unique in the Netherlands. The many restored façades of its buildings still recall the rich history of this former port.

The summer-houses and appartments are placed in a beautiful orchard 100 meters apart from the IJsselmeer, a lake which is ideal for sailing, swimming, and fishing. The IJsselmeer has as far as a few hundred meters off the coast a constant depth of 1 meter, which make it ideal water for surfers.
With bad weather you can make use of the accommodations provided by the marina, like an over decked swimming pool, a sauna, squash courts and a bowling-alley.

- 2 and 4 persons appartments

The summer-houses and the appartments are complete and fitted with modern conveniences, the only things you will need to bring are linen and towels.

There are many wonderful things to see and to do in Hindeloopen and its surroundings, like the local lakes and forests of Gaasterland. You can visit the museum called the “Hidde Nijlandstichting” where you can learn much about the rich historie  Hindeloopen possess. The “Eerste Friese Schaatsmuseum”, which is located beside our appartment-building called “De Eekhof”, contains memories of what winter was like in former days.

De Eekhof Verhuurbedrijf is opened all year long and it is possible to make reservations for mid-weeks and week-ends before and after the main holiday-season.
